Every Tuesday at noon we take one topic and pull it apart until it makes sense. You don't need to sign up or know a single thing about investing to follow along. Just find a seat.

Market recap

A quick look at what moved this week, explained so it makes sense whether or not you followed the news.

10–20 min

This week's topic

We introduce one topic, why it matters, and then build it from the ground up. This is the thing you'll walk out understanding, whether it's your first meeting or your tenth.

20–30 min

Group activity

You split into small groups and actually do it. Work through the numbers, break down a company, argue about an idea. It's the longest stretch of the hour on purpose.

5–10 min

Games & competition

We close with something competitive like a game, a challenge, groups against each other. Low stakes, and a good excuse to meet the people sitting near you.

Before your first meeting

What if I know absolutely nothing about investing?

Then you're exactly who these meetings are designed for. Most people walk in having never bought a stock. We explain terms as they come up, and asking "what does that mean?" is genuinely welcome.

Do I have to be a business major?

Not at all — that's the whole idea behind "where any major can learn how to invest." We have members from across the university, and the range of perspectives makes the discussions better.

Will I have to speak in front of everyone?

No. The group activities happen in small groups, not in front of the room, and nobody gets called on cold. Plenty of members just listen for the first few weeks.

Should I prepare anything?

Just show up. If you want a head start, skim the week's topic above, but there's no homework and no one will check.

Is there a cost?

Membership is free. Optional trips or competition fees are shared well in advance and never required to take part in weekly meetings.
